About
Engineering, for me, is the exhilarating intersection of curiosity, creation, and efficiency. From my early days of taking things apart just to see how they tick, to the satisfaction of piecing them back together with newfound understanding, I've found a profound joy in the challenges and puzzles that engineering presents. It's the dynamic blend of problem-solving, innovation, and the constant pursuit of understanding "why" that fuels my passion for this field. What truly excites me is the multi-disciplinary nature of engineering, where diverse skills converge to create solutions that are not just effective but also efficient. Simply put, I love engineering because it's the playground where curiosity meets craftsmanship, efficiency is paramount, and every project is an opportunity to bring ideas to life.
You'll find me out and about the city when I'm not busy working. I love going for walks along the seawall or visiting new cafes and exploring new parts of the city. I also enjoy a nice hike on the Northshore, or finding a nice quiet rocky beach to relax and watch the tide come in. It’s rare that I step out of the house without one of my film cameras to capture landscapes, memories or pictures of friends. I’m a big coffee nerd too. I love a nicely pulled shot of espresso or a lovely pour over from a local cafe. I have some gear of my own to get me started in the mornings but it’s nothing too crazy. I also love to eat and cook. It’s a lot of fun for me to research new techniques and or recipes online and try them out for my friends and family.
